In the "Fonts" panel, there is a category list and a grid; each cell in the grid contains a heading and a section displaying glyphs. Cells containing missing characters display a sample character with a light gray outline. These sample characters do not actually exist within the font, but they help you identify which characters are missing.

Fontcraft Editor help

Select "Character" from the "Insert" menu to add a glyph—along with its character mapping and glyph name—to the font. This option is available when the "Font" panel is active.

You can manage all fonts located on your file system and network drives; simply add one or more font folders. To do this, select "Add Font Folder" from the "Library" menu, or click the corresponding icon on the main toolbar. Select "Font Folders" from the "Library" menu to add, remove, or modify font folders.

Fontcraft Manager help

With all ten panels enabled, things might feel a bit overwhelming; fortunately, however, you can move, reposition, resize, and even hide these panels. Once you have configured all the panels for a specific task, be sure to save the layout so that you can easily switch between different layouts as needed.
